London and North East Railway (LNER) poster depicts a scene of the navigator and explorer Captain Cook (1728-1779) embarking on his third and final voyage from Whitby in 1776.

Originally produced in 1928 for London & North East Railways (LNER) to promote train services to the coast in Yorkshire.
